Assumption Vs Clarity

Every week our aim is to inspire you to take action. This week I share something that has been on my heart, Assumption Vs. Clarity, a subject that spoke to me greatly.

Do you really know what you want? We most times assume that we know what we want but actually we don’t. All of us dream of achieving great things, but there is a lack of commitment because we lack clarity. We most times settle for the bare minimum that has been thrown to us. If we have clarity, we can be more intentional. So ask yourself whether you really know what you want.

Working on assumptions is a recipe for delays and no results. Assumptions keep you in cycles of no results, delays and keeping up with the bare minimum.

What’s the picture like for you?

Is it of Assumption or clarity? Every time you attach a dream to what you are building there is guarantee that it’s going to happen. Clarity makes it easy to act on those things. For leaders, without clarity, the whole team goes down.

With clarity comes acceleration. People with potential only rise to that potential when they have clarity of who they are and what is their responsibility in response to the needs around them?

Passiveness is a killer and thrives on assumptions, but it should not. Spectating rather than taking action while on the field of play gives chance to the enemy or opponent to win.

The assumptions we make on the small things and never act on, spread and eventually become great chaos. One sure way to cut ourselves off loops of poverty, laziness and mediocre results is clarity of what we want, where we are going and what we can do about it.

“It takes intentionality when it comes to clarity to get results”
